Logicalis has had another busy year over 2020, with over 6500 employees serving thousands of customers from over 26 countries. Despite this year’s challenges, we have continued to help our customers adjust to a different way of working, with technology playing an integral role in business continuity for many organisations. While most CIOs would have preferred a more orderly transition to digital transformation, necessity has been the mother of transformation. To further enhance our resilience and support our customers, we trained employees on how to react in a crisis, built infrastructure capable of supporting our employees in remote work and put in place additional procedures to handle staffing gaps due to ill-health.
We are honoured to have received 42 awards across the globe in 2020, in a range of categories from innovation to the best place to work. Recognising our drive to build a better world as Architects of Change, we are delighted to have been so widely acknowledged for our continued commitment to accelerating our customers’ progress on a truly global scale.
Latin America saw the highest number of award wins with 18 over the year. With the majority of wins in categories focused on working well as a partner and delivering outstanding customer experience, Logicalis LATAM demonstrated its strong capability in being a fantastic partner that provides unbeatable tailored customer service. The team were also recognised in the 2020 edition of ‘The best companies to work for in Latin America’ by Great Place to Work® showing the power of great two-way communication, leadership and trust.
Across North America, Logicalis was awarded eleven wins including Channel Partners Insight Award-Best Covid-19 Related Initiative of the Year. The award-winning initiative was to help companies during the pandemic through new Rapid Deployment Services to help them get up-and-running in remote environments as quickly as possible. Through the service customers were able to leverage seven strategies and services to navigate the new remote work environment, improve their operations and maintain the integrity and efficiency of operations amidst the pandemic. More than 150 customers leveraged the service since March 2020 to maximise their business operations.
EMEA was recognised with seven awards with Logicalis Germany winning Cisco Partner of the Year – EMEA. Awarded to channel partners who rise to business challenges, the award recognises the superior business practices and rewards the best-in-class methodologies.
Finally, the APAC region took home seven awards as well. Awarded for their work in marketing and as a capital partner, Cisco honoured Logicalis Singapore with Global Marketing Partner of the Year due to its success in marketing the entire Cisco architecture and creating growth in key areas for the business. Specifically, its dedication to innovating the DevNet network, and focus on Hyperflex campaigns attributed to Cisco becoming one of the leading solutions providers for Logicalis’ customers.
Over the course of 2020, the need for businesses to become more digitally enabled has never been more critical. Companies rapidly realigned their IT strategies to mirror how their IT is consumed and in the coming year will undoubtedly need to revisit their business continuity plans to be more resilient in the future. We are proud to have been so widely honoured for our role in helping businesses to rapidly transform whilst supporting their ongoing digital transformation journey.
